Privacy policy

My name is John Siddall and I am the owner of The Fine Cheese Co., a family business, and I wish to assure you that we protect personal data as closely as I would want my own personal data protected.

If you buy from us, we ask for your name, your address, your telephone number and your email address; and, if you are wishing us to send to a different address, we ask for similar information for whoever is to receive your parcel.

We keep that information electronically on a secure digital platform because we then have a record of what you have bought from us and when you bought it (and who you sent it to). This allows us to deal promptly with any queries you (or the person you have sent to) have at any time.

We never share or sell this information. Ever.

If you want us to remove the information from our records at any time, you only need to send an email to customerservice@finecheese.co.uk. We shall remove the information and confirm we have removed it.

Of course, if you buy from us, we also receive your payment card details. These are never kept or stored but used just for the one transaction. No longer.

I hope that you will be pleased with what you buy from us and the service we provide; and, if you are, I also hope that you would like to know more about the products we offer and the people who make them.

So, I would like to send you, as a customer, information from time to time by email and by post. (There will never be a call unless the call relates to a purchase you are making or have just made.) You will need to opt-in to receive email, but you can opt-out of email or post (or both) whenever you wish.

We never contact, in these ways, those who receive gifts unless they also happen to be customers.

If you are not a customer of ours, we will only send you information if you specifically opt in to receive this information by email or by post (or both). Again, you can opt out at any time by sending an email to customerservice@finecheese.co.uk

Thank you for reading this (and please find my personal information below, should you ever need it).
